Rachel
I met Rachel in college. She was from Gainesville, and my sister was going to UF, so we discovered we had mutual friends from a Gainesville church. We met again when we were bridesmaids in friend's wedding, and the following year we became so close that she became an honorary roommate. That was great, but we wanted more! So.. the next year, we became REAL roommates as we moved into our Lakeland apartment! We began our most exciting college year together, as we both found our future husbands and became involved in jobs and activities that would prepare us for our careers. Even though we both came home at 5:00 every night, we called each other daily to ask when we were coming home, and we almost always ate dinner together, talked about our days, and watched "I Love Lucy" episodes and $5 movie specials from Wal-Mart. (After the movies ended, we would commonly say, "Well, I can see why it was $5." Somehow, though, we never learned our lesson...) Rachel is such a wonderful friend, and I look forward to having married-couple-double-dates with her and our husbands. I look forward to having her stand with me on my wedding day.
